To perform a Jeté leap, dancers must master poise, dedication and elegance. To produce a bottle of Jeté méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine, our winemakers must do the same.

Howard Park Wines x West Australian Ballet

As a signature ballet movement, the Jeté, creates the illusion of boundless control. Our Jeté is crafted with the same principles.

Howard Park is a proud primary sponsor of West Australian Ballet and has a long-running family history with professional ballet in Australia. It is the only winery in Australia – and, most likely, the world – to boast a former Principal Dancer and Soloist on its staff (David Burch & Lesley Scogna, both siblings of owner Jeff Burch). The winery has named an entire range of méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines after this ballet history: the Jeté collection.

We worked closely with the West Australian Ballet on our 2021 Jeté campaign to capture to essence of balance of strength, form and poise required to execute the perfect Jeté . The filming would not have been made possible without the valuable contributions from the talented Principal Rehersal Director and Artistic Associate Sandy Delasalle, Principal Dancer Matthew Lehmann, and Soloist Julio Blanes.

The Jeté Range

There are four méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines in the range: Jeté Brut Blanc NV, Jeté Rosé, Petit Jeté and Grand Jeté.

Our Mount Barrow vineyard, in the cool climate Great Southern region, is perfectly suited to growing fine Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes which are high in natural acidity.

In 2017 Howard Park’s Jeté Brut Blanc NV was awarded Best Australian Sparkling at the highly-respected Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships in London.

Our Wine Club delivers your favourite Howard Park wines straight to your door and includes a range of additional benefits.
