- Howard Park
On today, the last day of 2019 and indeed the decade, we take a quick look back at Howard Park's most read wine articles this year.
1. 'How to cellar wine, without a cellar.'
Wine Club manager David Stredwick shared our top tips on how to cellar wine. Read all about it here.
2. 'Nature's Pirouette Floral Art Installation'
In September De La Terre Florist installed our 3rd annual art installation at our Margaret River Cellar Door. Inspired by our Jeté collection of Methode Tratitionelle Sparkling wines and incorporating ballet shoes donated from West Australian Ballet. It's up until the end of January 2020 so there is still time to see it in person. Get all the details here.
3. 'What does a 15 year old Riesling taste like?'
One of Howard Park's loyal wine club members was generous enough to host a small group of friends to enjoy a 15 year vertical of our Howard Park Riesling. In this article he shares his personal notes on the wines, as well as some technical information from our wine club manager. Read about it here.
4. 'Oysters & Riesling - An out of this world flavour combination.'
Here at Howard Park we've always loved the combination of Oysters & Riesling. So much so we host an annual summer event in January. This article delves into the 'science' of why this flavour combination is so complimentary. Find out more here.
5. 'The only constant is change. The evolution of Great Southern Riesling.'
Another popular Riesling. As we celebrated a 10 year anniversary for our Howard Park Porongurup Riesling, Wine Club Manager David explored how the variety has evolved. Take a read here.
