A unique winemaking joint venture between Burgundian winemaker and biodynamic ambassador Pascal Marchand and Jeff Burch, Vigneron and owner of Howard Park & MadFish Wines.
Pascal Marchand is famous in wine circles for his performance taking over from Comte Armand in Pommard as winemaker at Burgundy's Premier Cru ‘Clos-des-Epeneaux’ and as ex-regisseur for Boisset's Domaine de la Vougeraie.
Fine Wines from Margaret River and The Great Southern, Western Australia and Burgundy, France including wines from several Grand Cru Appellations.

The expression of pinot noir from the mount barrow site is due to its gravelly well drained lateritic soils, low vigour and sustainable viticulture. Bright cherry and red fruits are supported by warm earth complexity, a silky texture and finely layered tannin structure.

Combined with a commitment to quality viticulture the pinot noir grown here has more mineral and floral characters underlying the dense cherry and raspberry fruit. Selected chardonnay grapes from the Porongurup region have been hand picked and whole bunch pressed, using slow wild ferments in small French oak barrels to produce a wine with complex aromas of cashew, grapefruit and lemon blossom. The palate structure is fine and elegant with great oak integration, generous mouthfeel and palate length.

Shiraz grapes were selected from single sites in Wilyabrup, Margaret River and Frankland, Great Southern to provide intense blueberry and spicy plum aromas with complex earthy and soy sauce notes. The stylish and richly textured palate is complemented by a finely layered tannin structure and great persistence.
