“Dark, spicy, minty, cassis fruit. Super flavour. Sweet redcurrant, spice, earth and eucalyptus. Super texture. Earthy feel to the tannins. Lovely long finish. From 2012.Decanter Award Winner.”

“Howard Park's vineyard" wines - Leston and Scotsdale - fill the gap before their premier cabernet and, at half the price, provide a lot of structure and style for the dollar.This shows intense cabernet fruit - blackcurrant, vanilla, cedar plus a hint of bay and basil - and a lovely dash of fine oak. The palate is rich but structured and the tannins firmbut fine. It really needs another year or soand will age for a decade but gives loads of current pleasure."”
