Denmark Cellar Door

Howard Park Wines has been based at Denmark, a small coastal town located within Western Australia’s Great Southern region, since its inception in 1986.  Surrounded by spectacular Karri and Marri forest, the Howard Park Denmark Cellar Door is a place to welcome wine lovers and appreciators of natural beauty.  Its 1000 tonne capacity winery is situated on an historical 100 acre property “Parkhead” abound with native forest and accompanying kangaroos.

A stylish modern cellar door has made special use of glass, concrete, stainless steel and timber features in its architectural design – creating a glassed ambience overlooking the native forest.  A place of tranquility and the perfect setting to enjoy the natural surrounds while tasting the Howard Park award winning range of wines.

Prior to visiting our Denmark Winery, be sure to visit the events section of the website as a number of events are scheduled each year.  In 2004 Howard Park developed a grassed amphitheatre on the winery grounds, the area is encapsulated by towering forest and has held a number of Denmark Summer Concerts in conjunction with the Denmark Music Festival since completion.  In the summer of 2007 the winery held a outdoor cinema night over the March long weekend, an event set to continue for years to come.
