John Waldron

Director of Sales and Trade Marketing

John joined the Howard Park team at the end of 2002 as Sales Director, bringing with him over 15 years experience in the wine industry and a great deal of enthusiasm, energy and motivation.

John’s first job in the industry was at a mere nine years of age at his uncles wine shop in Melbourne. John began his career by working on Saturday mornings for 50 cents pay to pack and unpack wine and serve customers, somehow from this day job his passion for wine was ignited! John moved to work for one of the Australia’s great distribution networks in Melbourne and Sydney and a few years ago his love of Howard Park and MadFish wines saw him pursue and secure the national distribution rights for the company he worked for at the time. Growing more and more familiar and fond of both brands, John was excited by the opportunity to come and work for Howard Park Wines itself.

John has become an integral part of the Howard Park team, pursing new markets on an international stage and consolidating existing distribution arrangements for the future. John’s commitment to Howard Park Wines is unquestionable as he works closely with Jeff and Amy to continue spread the message about the wines and the winemaking philosophy to our partners.

When he’s not busy travelling around the Australia or the world promoting Howard Park, you’ll find him on his boat with wife Lisa and daughter Gabrielle. John will be either waterskiing on the Swan River, at one of the bays at our beautiful Rottnest Island 20 kilometres off the coast of Perth or just enjoying Perth’s wonderful outdoor lifestyle.
